I just heard about Stacey. I know she is in a better place now and I pray for her family.

Does anyone know or can they find out where Stacey will be buried? I really would like to pay my respects, in my own way.

Monica, according to the paper she is going to be cremated. So I guess if you want to pay tribute to her the best way would be to post something on her memory page. To the best of my knowledge there will be no viewing or ceremony.

It is very sad to loose Stacey, sure wish she would have came to the reunion. I did see her every now and then usually just a moment in the store, I believe her ashes will be laid to rest in Hackett, her mom told me the name of the cemetary but I have forgotten I will find out and let you all know. Everyone please pray for her family,

glad to see the posting on here Phillip, I have been checking Mcconnell's website for service times or any information because I was going to attend visitation/funeral services. If anyone finds out anything different please let us know. I think I will just send a card to the family to pay my respects if there is now service.

Happy Birthday to the rest of the March babies celebrating this month! My husband, Tim, just had his 50th this past weekend. He says he's finally starting to feel all the little aches and pains that come along with age. As I've been losing weight, he's been finding it. He's going on his first diet EVER starting today. He was always rail thin growing up and has only gained the extra 20-30 lbs. in the last couple of years. This should be interesting....

Hey Everyone!

Is anybody still "out here"?  My laptop has been down for a long time so I haven't been able to check my email, etc. Anyway, I can't believe it's been a year since our Reunion!  I'd just like to say, again, how much fun I had.  To be totally honest, attending the Reunion was the best thing I've done for myself in a very long time.  If we have a 30th, I hope I'll be around to attend.

I was so shocked to learn of Stacie's death.  For years we were in Girl Scouts together.  Her mom, Caroline, was one of our troop leaders.  We're all getting to that age where our mortality becomes more evident...  If anyone has a mailing address for the Holtreys, please email it to me.

Please remember us here in the Florida Gulf Coast.  We've been very fortunate so far - there've been no big oil spills in Ft. Walton Beach/Destin.  Pensacola Beach (just 40 miles away), however, has been totally inundated with it.  It breaks my heart as well as making me furious.  Still, our beaches are OPEN!  If anyone is planing to come our way, email me.  I loved seeing everyone at the Reunion and would love to see you again.

Meliss

if anyone gets on here.....

Benefit yard sale for Becky Shook will be held on 16-17 September just west of the new Greenwood Post Office.  Greenwood is having their annual city wide yard sale those two dates as well.  The benefit proceeds will go to a fund that has been established for Becky.  Any donations, used and unused  items would be greatly appreciated.

We are in the process of adopting my nieces baby girl, Caroline. Right now she's in ICU at children's hospital in LIttle Rock. She has a bad infection that attacked her intestines. She is slowing improving but has along way to go. Although shes only 3 weeks old, she already showed shes a fighter. All prayers are welcomed and appreciated.

Matthew 18:19-21

19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

God is in control!.

Happy 2012 to everyone.  I hope this year brings an abundance of blessings to us all!

I have looked over these pictures I can't count how many times over the years and just looked at all of them again and checked up on several of you.  Every time I look at them I just smile and laugh.  Thankful we survived those crazy times and made lasting friendships for life.

In case some of you are not on Facebook I wanted to update here as well.  We will be having a 40 year (has it really been that long???) reunion.  October 20th Friday night is homecoming and alumni night at the highschool.  We will be attending the game and then Saturday night I have reserved an area at Boondocks where we can have dinner and socialize.  Can't wait to see everyone.  Hopefully you can make it to one of the nights if not both.

Good morning classmates!  I have contacted the school and they will have an area roped off for us to sit in at the game this Friday. Also, for anyone going to Celest's house at halftime the address is 6901 Highland Park Drive in Fort Smith.  She will be accepting guests starting at 8 pm.  There will be snacks and beverages available you don't have to bring anything but your smile.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hello everyone. A few of us gathered at the Boondocks Restaurant Last night (Saturday) and had a great time visiting with each other. Most of us were local but rarely see each other, and we had a couple of long-distance attendees. I missed the gathering Friday night; I heard many more were able to make it. Anyway, we missed those of you who did not make it. I wanted to thank Pam and everyone involved in the arrangements. We need to do this more often!
