After we graduated in '84, I went to the University of Arkansas and got my degree in Computer Science in '88. Wow, all that seems so long ago.
I got my start in programming with Wal-Mart in Bentonville, but then moved to Tulsa back in 1993 and have been here in Oklahoma ever since. I currently work for Deloitte Consulting (I do ABAP programming with SAP - if anyone has heard of that....), and I love my job and the people I work with. I get to travel and work with many different clients all over the country.
As I've been reading some of the profiles, I've been amazed at some of you that have been married for so many years with grown children and some of you with grandchildren already!! I can't even imagine! It's amazing all the different paths each of us have taken in our lives - no two the same. I myself have had a long and winding road (with definitely some dead ends in there....won't bore you with the details), but I think all those things have helped make me into the strong woman I am today. I'm sure all of you know what I'm talking about or have experienced that for yourselves.
So this year for me I've found myself making a new start, bought a new house in Jenks, OK that I love, and am surrounding myself with wonderful and supportive friends and family. I also hope that I can connect with my friends from the past! I hope to hear from you guys!!!
