25 Year Reunion

It's time for the 25th Reunion of the Class of 1989!!!  Save the date!!!  Saturday, June 7, 2014.  All class-specific activities will be at the Fuller House Bed & Breakfast (formerly Geana Watson Mitchell's grandmother's house next to Newburg Lumber).  A Saturday full of events and even a Sunday breakfast are being planned. 

Updates for information about the reunion will be posted both here and on the class group page on Facebook.  

ALUMNI DAY PARADE NOTES

• Official time to be announced... Probably will meet about 9am.
• Location to gather will likely be the elementary school parking lot like last time.  Any changes to this will be announced.

FAMILY PICNIC NOTES

• Starts at 1:30.  Enjoy some of Haleyville's 9-1-1 Day events while you wait!
• Hamburgers and hotdogs served.
• Bring the kids and let them swim!

REUNION RECEPTION / PARTY NOTES

• Adults only.
• Beginning time about 7:30pm.
• Swag bags will be handed out at the reunion.  If you want to make a donation to the swag bags or know of a company who would like to make a donation, contact Kathy Martin for the address.  We're shooting for 100 bags.

SUNDAY BREAKFAST NOTES

• Location: Fuller House

TICKET PRICING NOTES

• Ticket prices for singles and couples covers the picnic, party and breakfast.  Ticket prices for families include bringing your kids and such to the picnic and breakfast, and adults only to the party.
• We're asking people to try and register early for the reunion this year, and giving a $10 discount to those who register by April 15, 2014. 

There won't be a lot of time to decorate between the picnic and the party, and we can't get in to decorate Friday night like we did last year.  We'll work on decorations Friday night somewhere if you're interested in helping!  Let Kathy Martin, Michelle Wakefield Mauldin or Nancy Berry know.

There are still rooms available at the Fuller House if you're coming in from out of town, but their phone number is 205-269-7590 if you would like to call and ask. 

PLEASE do not let money matters keep you from attending.  Getting together with everyone is the most important thing.  Extra donations are welcome from other classmates to ensure that everyone is able to attend.
