I'll never forget when Damon moved to Hamilton. He was the first kid I knew that listend to KISS. Damon could rock on the guitar of his.

I remember meeting Damon for the first time in fifth grade, he asked to borrow a pencil, and I thought what a pain in the ass this kid is. We eventually grew to be good friends, discovering that we both loved the rock. He came over my house when he got his first bass, and I taught him how to play "Sympathy for the Devil". We had a lot of fun playing in bands over the years. I'll remember him as the uninhibited, fun-loving, free spirit that he was - and always cherish the great memories of his friendship.

Lots of memories with Damon (mostly good ones). I'll always remember the good times smoking Tiparillos we bought at Richdale's and laughing after we duffed our tee shots while playing the club nine at Myopia after a long day of caddying. We were living the dream.

He was a good friend. Like Chuck, I'll always cherish the memories.

Damon was just plain fun! Great kid who wasn't influenced by what other people thought. That was rare for that age. The second picture of him is what I remember. That smirk!

Thanks for posting these pictures of Damon, nice kid, always fun, loved music and like Chuck, introduced me to a lot of cool music. He was always very polite with your parents before he joined you in destroying your room.

I met Damon when he joined us around 5th grade or so. He wore the same Levis jeans and blue denim work shirt every day back then, but not the same pair, he had about a dozen pairs of exactly the same pants/shirts. I guess he was sort of like a super hero and had his own outfit.

What a great kid and friend Damon was, not many days go by that I don’t think of him. He was always quick with his smile and his passion for life was like none that I had seen at that period of my life, and not many have surpassed since.

The stories that he is entwined in are too numerous to list here but a lot of them included his Orange VW (anyone remember the hockey sticks that held the front seats from falling through the floor), his love for Mount Gay, his music collection from Rock to Reggae to Funk and his wooden owl box.

He is definitely missed and like the others on this page, I too am grateful to have known him.
