SAMOHUTIN, Vladimir G. A life-long learner and man of great wisdom and character, Vladimir Samohutin passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2013, with love and music embracing him. Born in 1945, Vladimir was predeceased by his parents, Gregory (1984) and Katherine (2012), and his wife, Sallie (1995). A cherished husband to Joceline Otis, with whom he found joy and loving companionship for the past 13 years. A devoted father to his daughter, Larissa, and son-in-law, Todd Bartlett. A proud and adoring grandfather to his "Princess" Alexandra. Vladimir will be deeply missed by his sister, Anne (Dave) Siniscalchi, and nephews, David and Michael (Joey). Sincere gratitude is extended to the Oncology Day Services team at the Juravinski Hospital, as well as all the medical staff who supported and cared for Vladimir along his journey. Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will follow.
