I had Mr Chaplin for electrical class in the '70's... I remember the first very class where he went around the room and everyone had to introduce themselves stating their names etc... when all students were finished... he did then introduced himself in which he said we could call him by his first name and that was "sir"... I laughed out loud as I often did! Mr Chaplin had a very witty and dry sense of humour which I enjoyed... :-)
