Mrs. Christine Knight

Myrtle Christine KNIGHT (nee MORRIS) February 22, 1922 - December 21, 2015 Christine Knight, daughter of Jimmy and Maude Morris of Folkeston, Kent, England, married Everett Warren Knight(1919-2012) of Providence, Rhode Island, USA and is Mother to Paul (1953-1979), Peter (1954) and Julian (1956). Served with Red Cross 1939-1945. Immigrated to Canada in 1965. Friend of the animals: Amber; Fifi; Boda; Bof; Babu; and Beaujais. Actress; teacher; musician, Christine will be remembered for her long career in the teaching of theatre arts at Scott Park and Vanier High Schools in Hamilton, Ontario. Residing on Hubbard Blvd. in Toronto from 1987, she played flute and piccolo in many bands and orchestras including Brantford; Timothy Eaton; Scarborough; and Encore. Funeral service to be held on January 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Trinity Square (next door to Eaton Centre).

Christine - always in my heart and memories. Will treasure our times together in the past few years. Wonderful memories of our 40 year Theatre Arts Reunion.

Harvey Brownstone (1974)

Mrs. Knight you were one in a million and way ahead of your time.  You brought flare and theatricality to Scott Park, and encouraged outsiders like me to feel like we had a place in society.  Rest in peace, dear lady.  You were a class act!

Patricia Semeniuk (Gagic) (1970)

Mrs. Knight was a briliant and special woman.  I loved her car!!! the lemon! Citroen.... I will cherish the Sunday's we spent at McMaster Univeristy as we worked on Chekov's The Cherry Orchard.  I loved her!
