Homecoming for Wade Hampton High School is October 24, 2008. What about a 1984 Round-Up? It will give us fuel for Our Reunion 2009.

Greetings Classmates,
I had the privilege of sharing time and great conversation with Professor Ronald on Saturday as he joined us at my family's reunion. We had great conversation about our class reunion and know that it will be an event that we'll reflect upon as one of the greatest of our life time. One suggestion I shared was, If we could invite one of our teachers that had either great relations with us and or impacted the class of "84".
If he/she or they were not able to attend then maybe a letter being submitted and read to us would be wonderful also. Just an idea! Wasnt coach Strother the VP ? I need to pull out my annual.........

I know most of you may think I have no right to say anything because I have not attended any of the planning meetings for the Reunion. But looking over the list of who was in our class, most of us still live in the area. With the state of the economy and people not spending any extra money, I think you would have a larger response if the Reunion was held in the Hampton/Varnville area. I feel that the Reunion should be held in the town where we graduated. If you decide to make the change and have the Reunion here, please let me know.

Theresa, as one of the members of the class of 1984, you definitely have a right to voice your opinion. We understand your viewpoint, however, others have already committed to having a reunion in Myrtle Beach and put serious time into it and that would not be fair to them to change location. SO, we hope you reconsider and join the rest of us in Myrtle Beach, "God Willing", June 12-14.

Why can't we do two reunions? As most people are in the area or close enough to drive. I am sure someone has a big back yard and would be willing to host the reunion. We could all bring a dish and of course our own drink. Something very casual. Just an idea.

Hi everyone. I will be flying in and it will be a lot more expensive to come to Hampton than Mertle beach. And if I recall Hampton is still very boring and nothing to do so I would have to spend money to rent a car and drive to go anywhere. My vote is Mertle Beach. I like the idea Leigh Ann had about having a casual party in Hampton for those who can't make it to Mertle Beach. Can't wait to see everyone!!!!

Hello Classmates. Looking forward to seeing each of you at the 25th Anniversary Class Reunion Celebration in Myrtle Beach (June 12 - 14). Please remember that the deadline for registration is May 15. If you need a registration packet please e-mail me or call(803)842-9166.
At our last meeting we talked about having a Family and Friends Day in Hampton County before our Class Reunion. We really need more classmates to get involved who are in or near the Hampton County Area. So if anyone is interested in chairing the Family and Friends Day in Hampton County please let me know.
Also, please contact classmates and encourage them to get involved by responding to correspondences about our class reunion.

Hi Red Devils!!You OLD devils you! HA! HA!- I don't know if I will make the reunion yet but I like the idea of using both locations. If anyone can call the locals-look in the phone book-go to their workplace-whatever, and tell them about this web site! I think it is great! Thanks Guys for creating it.

Leigh-we need to get together. I have spoken to several of our classmates, and they would love to do something local. I would help to organize it, but can't do it all on my own. I'm in the local phone book!!!
