Jessica was a great person. I was fortunate enough to know her personally. We were both from poor families, and neither of us had the best of anything. Those circumstances forged our friendship. She just wanted to be accepted for who she was as a person; didn't we all. I'm thankful that we had a friendship, and she was able to talk and cut up with me during school. I know she's smiling down on us all and wishing the best for our lives.
I went with school with her from Kindergarten and we had the same homeroom (Mr. Nichols)when she died. This incident taught be that life is very short so you have to cherish every moment that you have with family and friends while you are here. She was a special person.
