Class Of 1962 web site.

Our class was one of the honored classes this year at the Hancock Alumni All-School Reunion, which takes place every three years. We began on Thursday, July 25, with registration and a formal greeting from the Superintendent of Hancock Schools, Monica Healy.

With great pride, several members of our class presented the high school with a new podium for the Sylvia J. Eskola Auditorium. The podium was funded by donations from members of the Class of 1962. Hancock's Industrial Arts instructor, Gary Mishka, and members of his classes, designed and constructed the podium, which is made of bird's eye maple and walnut, woods native to the UP.

Approximately 30 members of our class got together for lunch on Thursday at Nutini's Supper Club in Hancock.

Even more attended a pizza picnic at Lou Anne and Chuck Lucchesi's farm on Saturday afternoon.

The banquet Saturday evening, July27, was held in the ballroom at Michigan Technological University.

We have decided to keep our web site active for the next three years, until after the next All-School Reunion in 2016. At that time we will decide whether to continue paying for the site. In the meantime, we encourage all our class members to update their profiles with pictures and news about themselves and their families.
