David J. Helffrich, 25, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 30, 1986.

He was born in Erie December 11, 1960, a son of John S. Helffrich of Erie and Jean Oleski Helffrich of Harborcreek Township.

He graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1979.

Mr. Helffrich was a salesman for Forrest City-North American Lumber Co.

Besides his parents, survivors include a son, Geddy Lee Helffrich of Tidioute, Pa.; and two brothers, Michael Helffrich of Cleveland, and Steven Helffrich of Harborcreek Township.

Services were private, with burial at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
