Kevin Mark Heuser, age 53, of Riverview, Fla. and formerly Harborcreek Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in Erie on May 15, 1961, a son of the late Gene and Ann Prawdzik Heuser.

He was a graduate of Harbor Creek High School, Class of 1979 and Gannon University, Class of 1985. Kevin was a mechanical engineer and was employed by various companies in Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time at the beach. Kevin loved dogs and especially loved caring for his Great Danes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Felix and Julia Prawdzik; paternal grandparents: Clarence and Margherite Heuser; and several aunts, uncles, and two very dear cousins.

Survivors include two sisters: Denise Roth (Mike) and Diane Susie Szymanski (Joe), all of North East; one brother, Craig Heuser of Erie; two nieces: Amanda and Aime Szymanski; his beloved pet dog, Sophie; and two dear friends: Robert Diefendorf and Gordon Adams.

Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. The Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 5151 Buffalo Rd., Erie, is handling arrangements.
