I became a Registered Nurse in 1998 and worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Bon Secours and Beaumont, Troy for years. I decided I needed more...autonomy in my career and mainly, the opportunity to do what I've been watching the docs do for years! In 2006, I received my Master's Degree in Nursing and became a Certified Nurse Midwife. I currently work full time at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida as a CNM, caring for pregnant women and delivering their babies. It's a great job and I love the experience! Guess I'll be a cheerleader all my life, as I "cheer on" mothers in labor.
My husband, Tim, and I have been together now for almost 8 years. We had our first son November, 2007. Bradley is a joy and is what I run home to every night after work! We enjoy traveling and spend most of our vacations scuba diving. In May, 2010 we relocated our family to the beach community near Cocoa Beach on the east coast of Florida. We absolutely love the warm weather and beach life. Living across the street from the ocean is a dream come true!
