It is with great sadness to inform everyone that we have lost a fellow Rebel and childhood friend of mine, Henry Alves (1979) passed away 2-20-2022.  We will miss him deeply, so sad.  Condolences to his family and friends.

Peggy Allen Uliano ( 65 )  We are so sad to announce the deaths of both our beautiful sisters this week. God has pulled us through a very difficult time . Our family of nine children grew up in the south end of Hartford , and our mom and dad gave up much to send us to South for an incredible education , and the chance to make life long friends . Gen Allen Hall and Jane Allen Quinn died two days apart , and left such a hole in our loving family  of very close siblings . I truly believe that our life lessons from South gave us what we needed to care for them through to the end . Thanks to all their many friends for the prayers and support .

So very sad to hear of your sisters passing. Losing our life long siblings is never easy. I too lost both my only siblings in my 40s. They are missed even more today. My deepest sympathy on the passing of your sisters.  I can't imagine the depth of the  hole in all of your hearts.  I have such fond memories of the Allen household. Our home was so quiet that I loved visiting with the chaos, laughter and all your siblings running around. Your Mom driving up in the VW buss, opening the doors and a horde of Allens poured out.  You have a wonderful, close family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Recently Rich B. has sent out invites for the Class of 1973 Reunion.

Its been 50 years since we "graced the halls" of SCHS. Wonder what everyone is doing, where everyone has gotton to. Guess we will find out soon enough.

Hello Class of 73!!!

I am sorry I could not attend the 50th class of 73 reunion.  I happend to be out of state with two other South grads. One from Class of 72 and one from class of 74.

Looks like everyone had a fantastic time and would love to see everyone at a future reunion or get together.

I have recently moved to Vernon Ct. after 6 years in North Carolina and 24 years in Mass.

I am retired from the town of Mashpee Ma. and now I do bartend part-time at Hartford Golf Cub in West Hartford.

Wonderful to see all the photos.
