Daniel Kolavage Obituary
Daniel J. Kolavage, Jr., 52, of Wethersfield, died Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was born in Hartford, the son of the late Daniel J. and Marie (Balczuk) Kolavage, Sr. and resided in greater Hartford all of his life. Daniel was formerly employed by United Parcel Service (UPS) and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his companion Maria Torres, his brother Darrin Kolavage, of Rocky Hill, his aunt and uncle Terry and Jim McNamara, of Avon, his uncle John and Mare Balczuk, of Burlington VT, a niece Kara Frohloff and her husband Tyler, of Thomaston and nephews Patrick and Christopher Nista, of West Hartford. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Newington. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery will be at a later date. Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington is serving Daniel's family.
