Frank Lombardo

Frank “Frankie” Lombardo, Jr., 52, of Wethersfield, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Hartford Hospital with his family by his bedside. He was born May 3, 1963 in Hartford and was the son of Mary Jane (Damiano) Lombardo of Wethersfield and the late Frank Lombardo. Frank was employed by the State of CT as a Judicial Marshal for over 20 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting with his dad. He also liked going to the casino, watching all sports, listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and watching old movies. Frankie studied for many years the art of Tae Kwon Do, having reached the rank of third degree black belt; he was also an undefeated competitor. Everyone that knew Frankie, loved him. His infectious smile and great stories will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Frank will be dearly missed by his sister, Lona M. Barone and husband Stephen of Wethersfield; uncle, Arthur Bagdasarian of Wethersfield; two nieces and two nephews, Edward F. Lombardo and wife Kristin, Nicole M. Lombardo, Daniella M. Barone and Frank N. Barone; great-nephew, Dominic Lombardo and great-niece, Olivia Lombardo, as well as several cousins and a host of dear and close friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Patty Ann Lombardo; aunt, Christine Bagdasarian; uncle Carmine Damiano, uncle and aunt, Joseph and Josephine Lombardo; aunt, Sara Mascolo; and uncle, Richard Lombardo. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at JB-8 Dialysis Unit at Hartford Hospital for the care, compassion and love shown to Frankie and his family during his illness. 

Calling hours are Saturday from 8:15-10:15 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St Luke’s Church, Hartford. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Donations in Frankie’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Church, 66 Bolton St., Hartford, CT 06114.
