MISSING CLASSMATES

Know the email address of a missing Classmate? Click here to contact them!

Welcome back to the Class of 1966 website!  We're fortunate to have a way to talk with each other online. Just go onto the What's New page to join the conversation -- you don't even have to log on! If you do want to log on and can't remember your password, contact Eddie for a new one.

And remember -- you can contact other classmates privately through the site's secure email system -- just visit a profile and click on "send a private message." You can also update your own profile with new contact information.

Join the Alumni Association

The Alumni Association runs the Hall of Excellence and Sports Hall of Fame, in addition to facilitating reunions. They also offer scholarships to outstanding HHS graduates. Their work is almost totally funded by memberships – so please take a moment to join. It’s only $25 a year, unless you’d like to make a bigger donation. I know many of you joined during our 50th reunion year, but only a few of our classmates have current memberships. We can do better than that!

Alumni Honors

Speaking of the Alumni Association ... four of our classmates have been accepted into the honor halls since our reunion:

  • 2017 Hall of Excellence - MaryBeth Koslap Petraco, who rose from nursing ranks to achieve a PhD and national recognition for her work with CDC
  • 2018 Sports Hall of Fame - Bill “Otto” Otivich, outstanding Hastings High School athlete and scholar, and long-time coach and community leader in Irvington
  • 2019 Hall of Excellence - Vanessa Merton, director of Immigration Justice Center, Pace University and recipient of too many other honors to list here (!)
  • 2023 Hall of Excellence - John Chang, Lieutenant Colonel U.S. Army (Ret.) andVeteran's Advocate

Pretty good for a class that no one expected to succeed!

Take 2 -- Turn around, Angie!

Another try ... Now we're really starting to fall apart -- does anyone have a good photo of the whole group?

Please log in and have some fun with this site – it can be our virtual reunion!

  1. Click on Classmate Profiles and click on "Show Yearbook photos" to see everyone's best 1966 face.  Then fill your profile out, so others can see what you've been doing -- add a current photo!  Be sure to add or update your email address, as well, since that will be our main form of communication.
  2. Check the "What's New" page to see what people are posting and saying -- and add your own comments.  Post pictures to the Photo Memories page if you'd like. Scroll through the "Looking Back at Hastings" for fun memories.
  3. Visit the "Question of the Week" page to see what people remember about the Washington trip, and more...   Open a "Forum" then "Add a topic" to have your say
  4. Share this website with any other classmates you know who haven’t logged in yet – personal contact is the best way to spread the word. Many of the people listed as "missing" really have been found and contacted, but have not yet joined this website. If we have their contact info (which is private until a person chooses to share it), you can send emails through their profiles.

Many thanks to the Hastings Alumni Association, whose volunteers have been instrumental in helping us set up this reunion. Please consider joining the organization or making a donation. Visit them to see info on the scholarships they give and the Hall of Excellence and the RWL Athletic Hall of Fame. Don't miss the Hall of Fame Sports Awards video
