Lived in Hill City for 15 years, moved to Pratt (1986) when oil batch went down and husband and Dad closed their well service after 20 years. Husband took job with KCC in the enviromental division and moved to Pratt. I have worked as a secretary since I moved to Pratt, first with Lesh Motors, went to Cross Man. for 7 1/2 years then to UMY , when the SRS foster care was privatized, then with SFCS for the last 14 years and now retired due to health reasons. Raised 3 girls, 40,37,32 now, have 2 grandsons (18, 17) and 2 granddaughters (6,5) and 2 step grandsons (16,14). They all live close by so get to see then often. My oldest daughter is an insurance agent for Strong Ins in Pratt, her husband has an plumbing and air conditoner business. My middle daughter is an Assistant Principal in Wichita for Anderson Elem. My youngest daughter is a license coder for the surgent and bone and joint Doctors in Pratt, her husband is a farmer they have a farm in the Macksville area. My oldest grandson is into motocross and is working on his pro statues and will graduate in May.
