There is another great video in This & That! Below is a FUN article!

IF A DOG WERE YOUR TEACHER .....

You would learn stuff like this
:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to
be pure ecstasy.

When it's in your best interest - practice obedience.

Let others know when they've invaded your territory.

Take naps and stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wiggle your entire body.

No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt
thing and pout - run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.

Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and
nuzzle them gently.

I have to admit although I am not a Steve Jobs fan, this is one of the best speeches I have ever heard. ( except for his dig at Bill Gates and MicrosofT!)  It is listed as one of the top 12 motivational speeches. Hope you enjoy it. It is posted in This & That. Check again next Monday for another.

Some of our classmates are staying in touch. They had lunch yesterday at the Pines.

 "One Classmates Reflections"

Realizing 50 years was a very long time

The preparations began in June 2009

It was after all, a very special event
Looking back half a century and how it was spent

We found our classmates one by one
Sadly realizing we were missing some

We set up a web site to keep in touch
Recent photos, updates, memories and such

A well orchestrated weekend soon came to light
With it came memories not soon to lose sight

A mass with a bagpiper to lead the way
Candles for the deceased, not to miss the day

Dinner, dancing and prizes were won
Friendships rekindled before all was done

Conversations picked up as though started yesterday
Putting worries to rest of  "What would we say?"

Did they experience sad time over the years
Oh I'm sure they did, some accompanied by tears

But for two days it was all set aside
To take the trip back and enjoy the ride

At nights end, the class of 1960 said their goodbyes
Promishing to keep in touch, and not break the ties

Will this happen? Who knows, maybe so
If not, it was great seeing you, sorry to see you go

Lucille

An initial meting has been held and a date picked for the 50th class reunion.  June 25-27, 2010.  We are still interested in any comments or suggestions that any class member has concerning our event. Please participate, you'll make it a real good time for everyone. No place or schedule has been set other then these days as of now, so think about coming and see how much everyone has changed.  Some of us grew, some have shrunk, some have lost their hair and lot's grew bellies. Some weigh more and some less. At 66, some have wrinkles and maybe some have had botox.   For sure, everyone has experienced the real world and are a lot smarter then you would have ever given them credit for in 1960 and all are more understanding of the complexities of relationships since they were 19.  No one is the kid who sat next to you in English class, anymore. Put away that 50 year old idea of "what it was in 1960" and "who was who" and come see what people have become.  You maybe surprised

A WELL ORCHESTRATED WEEKEND SOON CAME TO LIGHT

WITH IT CAME MEMORIES NOT SOON TO LOSE SIGHT

A MASS WITH A BAGPIPER TO LEAD THE WAY

CANDLES FOR THE DECEASED, NOT TO MISS THE DAY

DINNER, DANCING AND PRIZES WERE WON

FRIENDSHIPS REKINDLED BEFORE ALL WAS DONE

CONVERSATIONS PICKED UP AS THOUGH STARTED YESTERDAY.

PUTTING WORRIES TO REST OF”WHAT WOULD WE SAY?”

DID THEY EXPERIENCE SAD TIMES OVER THE YEARS?

OH I’M SURE THEY DID, SOME ACCOMPANIED BY TEARS

BUT FOR TWO DAYS IT WAS ALL SET ASIDE

TO TAKE THE TRIP BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE

WILL THIS HAPPEN? WHO KNOWS, MAYBE SO
