I met Shane in the early 80's. His family and mine knew each other so we quickly became friends. Shane was a hard guy not to like, if you spent 30 seconds with him, you had to like him. His sense of humor was amazing. He definately made an impact on me.
Shane was a East Helena Tiger, so that automatically made him cool. He was great guy who always had a smile on his face. He smiled more when he was hunting with his hounds chasing mountain lions. You are missed.
Shane was a great guy - he was always bugging me for not eating breakfast saying I was just a "skinny kid." One day, before a Lifetime Sports fieldtrip he invited me over for breakfast and made the full on meal. Fresh milk, bacon, eggs, the works. It was gestures like that which show the type of person he was.
Shane was amazing....such a sweet guy with a wonderful family- they were like my brothers and sisters too while we were together. I will never forget prom, my red dress and that blue ford truck....
Shane, Jay Tyler and I spent many hours riding motorcylces near York. Shane was truely a great guy with an amazing love and respect for the outdoors. Cancer took him from us long before his time. We miss ya bud.
Shane was my first and only boyfriend in grade school and my diary is full of stories about our early childhood. He was such a caring person and is missed deeply. God Bless.
Shane was one of those guys who made you feel like you were one of his best friends. Always warm, friendly, and with a smile, he was a friend to everyone who met him. He is missed. - Benji Scholz
