Went to WT University and Amarillo College and graduated with an assoc. of science in Physical Therapy. I got married in 1994 to Rodney Penton. We have 3 kids- Chandler is in HJH in 8th grade, Ashley is in 6th grade, and Jacob is in 4th grade. We moved to the east coast to Richmond,VA in 1999 and lived there for about 2 years. We then moved to Florence,SC and lived an hour away from Myrtle Beach. I loved it! My husband worked for Hensel Phelps Construction Co. as an area superintendent and they were working on the Pentagon in DC when 9/11 happened. They quickly moved us after 9/11 to the DC area to help with construction. We lived in Herndon,VA for about 2 years while my husband built the new Smithsonian Air and Space Musuem. We lived right in the area where the DC Sniper was killing people over those few months so we had to be careful going out places. We then moved to Charles Town,WV about an hour away from DC. We lived there for about 3 years. We thought the east coast was beautiful and made many friends all over but still missed the Panhandle. We decided it was time to move home so our kids could settle into junior high and high school in one place. We had missed years with our families and wanted our kids to grow up with thier cousins. We have been back almost 2 1/2 years and it feels like home. We enjoy going to Ute Lake in the summer and water skiing and kneeboarding, camping in the mountains, and Skiing and Snowboarding in the winter. |
