I am very sorry to inform you that my sister, Pam Zellers, died last night in Austin, Texas. As some of you knew, she had been ill for some time with obstructive lung and coronary disease and, as she put it, it had been a race between her heart and her lungs as to which would give out first.

She had moved to Texas from South Carolina last fall to live with her daughter and had been under hospice care for the last month or so. I had planned to go to Austin this morning to spend the week-end with her but her end came faster than expected.

I hope that many of you will remember her joy of life, her beauty and her killer humor. We will miss her but are glad that she is no longer suffering and free from the ever-present oxygen lines.

Some of your spouses were in Pam's class at PVHS, which I think was 1962. If you know of any class website and could post this information, I would appreciate it so I can reach her Valley friends. Thank you.

Does anyone remember the music used in the Theocali Festival musical event put on by Mr. Albini?

Vicki,

I just found this forum. I'm 2 years late with the response, but I remember that the music was Ravel's Bolero.

Are you sure it wasn't something by Manual DeFalla?
