Donald Jerry Binkley age 71 of Hobart, passed away on November 6, 2010 and was born Sept. 18, 1939 in Crittenden Co., Kentucky. He was a self-employed contractor. Jerry was a veteran of the U. S. Army, 101st Airborne. He was a member of Hobart Masonic Lodge 357, F&AM and the Orak Shrine in Michigan City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Varnie and Hilda Binkley.

Jerry is survived by his daughter – Shelley Binkley of Kansas City, MO and son – John (Leslie) Binkley of Wasilla, AK; 4 grandchildren – Katelyn, Emily, Sarah and Jack; brother – David Jo (Bettye) Binkley and sister – Kay (Paul) Strasburg both of Valparaiso; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, Rev. Don Good officiating. Entombment in Graceland Mausoleum, Valparaiso.
