OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JULY 14, 2007:

Judith Ann Jones, age 68, of Hobart, IN, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 while vacationing in Bullhead City, AZ. Judy was born November 15, 1938 in Gary, IN. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1956 and a charter member and volunteer secretary of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Judy was formerly employed by McAnary Ford, Summerfield Trucking, Orkin Pest Control, and Southlake Mental Health.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Krause and brother Michael Krause; nephew Randall Moehl and former husband, Howard E. Jones. She is survived by daughter Michele Araiza of Portage, IN and son Howard W. (Christina) Jones of Carmel, IN; grandchildren: Matthew and Ryan Jones; her sisters: Marilyn (John) Brennan of Merrillville and Lenore (Erwin) Moehl of Hobart; her good friend Gene Burke of Hobart; and loving nieces and nephews: Rodney Bloom, Amy Gregory, Kimberly DeQuis, Cindy Ehrhardt, Roger Moehl and Sandra Schnabel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6240 Grand Blvd., Hobart, IN with Pastor Frederic Lams officiating. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the family to celebrate Judy's life at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN on Monday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
