C. Thomas McDonald, 72, of Wanatah formerly of Jackson Township, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 with his family by his side.
He was born February 20, 1938 in Gary the son of Charles Thomas and Bessie (Dregalla) McDonald.
Tom had been a Construction Manager with Owens Corning Fiberglas and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man and humble servant of the Lord.
Survivors include his wife, Louise (Burton) McDonald; daughter, Deborah McDonald (Thomas Sarver) of Chesterton; sister, Rita Wineiger of Hobart; and granddaughter, Sydney.
A funeral mass will be offered Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wanatah with Fr. Jerry Schweitzer officiating. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4:00-8:00 PM at the Funeral Home in Valparaiso.
Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of Porter County.
