OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, FEBRUARY 19, 2012:

Shirley J. Schaefer (nee Rampke), age 77 of Hobart, passed away February 17, 2012. She was born to Fred and Myrtle Rampke on November 12, 1934. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1952 and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Schaefer in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Schaefer of Valparaiso.

Private funeral services were held on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. There will be no visitation. Burns Funeral Home, Hobart in charge of arrangements.www.burnsfuneral.com.
