Jack Teitge - Class Of 1953

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, SEPTEMBER 28, 2010:

Jack Teitge, age 75, of Hobart passed away September 25, 2010.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis; son, Matt (Patti) Teitge of Kouts; daughter, Sherri (Marc) Eberle of Hobart; and daughters LouAnn (Ray) Kicker of Dallas, TX and Virginia (Al) Petri of Valparaiso; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Helen Goyda. Jack was a wonderful and loving husband, father and "Tata" and devoted to his family and passionate about his hobbies. He was a devout "Car Guy" and nature lover. He was a proud member of Hobart High School Class of 1953, a retired sheet metal worker and Past President of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 303. In retirement he worked part-time for the City of Hobart as an HVAC inspector.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. www.burnsfuneral.com
