Judith A. Hollingsworth, (nee Julian), age 89, of Hobart, passed away September 10, 2023. She was born February 19, 1934, in Gary, IN, to Ralph, Sr. and Rachel Julian. Judith was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1934.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-Ralph (Betty), Harry (Billie), Jack, Richard, and Robert Julian; sisters- Betty (Elsworth) Fischer, Joan (Charles) Lee, Rachel (Kris) Kristophel. Judith was married to her husband Eugene Hollingsworth on July 9, 1955 at Christ Church in Gary, IN.

Judith is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years-Eugene; children-Cynthia (Mike) Retzlaff, Jay (Angie) Hollingsworth; grandchildren-Jason (Mary) Retzlaff, Jessica (Bryan) Watts, Jordan (Francisco) Hollingsworth Negron Avila, Brooke Hollingsworth, Janna Hollingsworth; great grandchildren-Elizabeth and Emily Watts, Addison and Aleksander Retzlaff, Elena Negron Avila; sisters-in-law-Dixie, Randy and Carol Julian; many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A Memorial Service with Communion Service for Judith will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 1360 State Street, Hobart, IN 46342, Pastor Pamela Thiede and Pastor Charles Strietelmeier co-officiating.
