Steven "Steve" Owen Brown, age 67, of Iva, SC passed away on June 8th, 2021. Steve was born in North Carolina and moved to Hobart at a young age. He graduated from Hobart High School, class of 1972. Steve retired from Ford Motor Company after 35+ years. He was an avid fisherman. Steve enjoyed fishing trips with his sons and coworkers. Upon retirement, Steve was able to make his childhood dream of retiring on a lake a reality. He spent his last years with his wife and dog either on the boat, fishing from the dock, or sitting in his sunroom enjoying the lake view.

Steve was preceded in death by his father-Robert; brother-Gary. He is survived by his mother-Barbara Ginter (nee Brown); loving wife-Deborah (nee LaRiccia); sons-Steve, Eric (Sara), Kyle (Amanda); daughter-Angie Robineau; grandchildren-Christopher, Jeremiah, Jordan, Jacob, Maylee, Evelyn, Kaia, and Rosemary; sisters-Janet (Brian) Snedecor and Nancy (Greg) Nicholls.
