OBITUARY FROM ARIZONA REPUBLIC, MARCH 31, 2013:

Parmley, Dan Sr., 65, of Tempe, AZ passed away on March 26, 2013. Dan died peacefully surrounded by his family. Originally from Indiana he came to Arizona in 1977 to escape the cold Indiana winters. Dan was well know in the alternative fuel industry and held the world record for driving an electric vehicle form coast to coast. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Nancy, two sons Dan Jr. (Michele) and Jeremy (Meagan), 4 grandchildren Elisabeth, Daniel, Avery and Emma. 2 step grandsons Jake and Ryan.

Services will be held April 6, 2013 at 2:00PM at East Valley Church of the Nazarene, 127 N. Signal Butte Rd. Apache Junction, AZ 85120.
