I remember moving back to Hobart, having a different last name and alot of years had passed. Grade school is much different from high school. That first day of school was aweful for me with one exception. Nick recognized me and we started talking about all that had happened over the past few years and helped me get through that day. He was one of my closest friends at Mundell and was still a friend all those years later. He was a great person and will never be forgotten.
I still have the newspaper clipping from his accident. It was one of the sadest days I remember. He was a very funny, sweet, kind guy who totally accepted me for who I was. Even though we didn't hang out outside of school, I knew he was my friend. We share the same birthday and every year on our birthday I remember him and remember having a conversation about how we should have a party together and invite the whole school, I wish we could have, it would have been a blast! He will be in my heart and thoughts always.
Gosh, the news of Nick passin crushed my family out here in AZ. His brother Joe is still my dads best amigo. Whenever Joe and Lisa come out with the girls they stop by my folks place and we reminisce. Tony and Nick are never far from any of our hearts or minds.
