Craig A Demel

HOISINGTON — Craig A. Demel, 48, died Aug. 2 at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington. Born Oct. 7, 1960 in Hoisington, he was the son of Dennis L. Demel and Beth L. Humphrey Ummel. A lifetime resident of Hoisington he was an employee of Town and Country Supermarket in Hoisington. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Demel was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington.

Survivors include a son, William Demel of Otis; a daughter, Shani Stout and husband Kyle of Otis; his father, Dennis Demel and wife Wilma of Hoisington; his mother, Beth Ummel and husband Kenneth of Wichita; a sister, Denise Schreiber and husband Bob of Hoisington; a grandson, Ryker Stout; and a step-brother, Gary Ummel of Hoisington.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home with Father Dwight Birket officiating. Burial will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to service time on Wednesday, all at the funeral home.
