I believe that Tim passed away in Nov. 2006. Tim was a great guy, and a wonderful friend.

Tim was one of my best friends at Hope High. He managed a paint store in Texarkana and also served as Music Director at Second Baptist Church in downtown Texarkana. Jeff Brown, Bryan Haynie and I attended his funeral together, along with my wife Holly. Tim had a beautiful voice and sang at our wedding 25 years ago. I miss him greatly. Please keep his wife and two daughters in your prayers. His unexpected and untimely death was a shock to all of us.

Tim and I didn't have many classes together, but I remember him mostly because he looked so much like his father, Johnny. My grandparents used to hire his father to tune our piano. After he would tune it he would play a tune for us. I was glad to know that Tim followed in his father's footsteps, musically and I'm sure in other ways. His dad is a fine person.

I got to see Tim and his family while attending the 50th anniversary of Calvary Baptist Church, Hope, in October of 2006 shortly before his death. Tim has a beautiful family and was a good husband and father. I enjoyed the time we spent together in ministry at Calvary back in the early 80's.
The first group of youth I ever took on a trip was to Glorieta, New Mexico for church camp and Tim went as one of only three sponsors. He drove one station wagon and I drove the other. We were only 19 years old. It was quite a learning experience to say the least.
He is greatly missed by his family and friends!
