In Memory

Kenneth J Furnkranz - Class Of 1966

Ken died on Aug. 16, 2016, in the comfort of his own home without pain or anguish from fatal cardiac arrythmia.  He was signed up to come to the 50th reunion in Sept. which was ironically being held the same weekend that his wife, Susie's, was.

What can we say about Ken Furnkranz?  Plenty.  He was a retired employee from Food and Drug Administration, intelligent, happy sole, kind man, good spirited, helpful to others, volunteer coach, Scoutmaster to Troop 716, always attended the reunions to see his childhood friends from Horseheads.  Ken lived in Cheverly, Maryland with his wife, Susie and 3 sons, Chris, Andrew and Michael.  There are 6 grandchildren.  His smiling face with be missed 100%.

Obituary was in Washington Post on Aug. 19, 2016.

Thoughts and words may be left for the family at:  Legacy.com                 Rest in peace our dear friend.

Thomas M Gibbs III (1966)

I remember Kenny as we were in homeroom together.  He was always upbeat and funny.
