Debbie died of ovarian cancer at the age of 40, I believe. After our 20th reunion, several of us got together and visited her...she was so sick and fighting so hard. I attended her memorial service and very recently ran across the little pamphlet they passed out to us. Of course, I can't remember where I put it, but I'll find it and I will send the writeup so you can post.
Debbie was really smart, very sweet and extremely beautiful. I was always in awe of her. She and Mark Marshall '71 went off to UT together got married, had a son (not sure if that's the right order) and split soon after. She raised her son by herself. He was just about to graduate from Episcopal High School, when she died. One thing I know for sure, she loved her son and was so proud of him. Sharmon Youngblood |

That is sad that she died so young. The last time I saw Debbie was in Austin when her son was first born, and I remember her as a good person and strong. Her brother Keith 1972, was a childhood friend of mine, and he died at a young age as well. My heart goes out to their parents and Debbie's son.David Lee D'Avion
I've just run across this web site & am having some incredible highs & lows!Yes,Debbie was one of the sweetest girls that I was fortunate to have met at W.H.S. She & Mark would come over to my apt.either before, during,or after school all of the time-as well as a few other people. We had many, many laughs & made many wonderful memories that seem were only the other day.
