They both were in the Cougar Band and Cougar Brass at UH, among other things. They also attended classes, but that was just a formality. It's all about BAND.
Yes! Attending Reunion
Are you an Alumni Association Member?

Annual ($20 Individual; $30 Household if both are Westchester Alumni)

What School Activities Did you Participate in and in what years?

Band, every moment possible.

I took all the Spanish I could. I would love to see Senorita Hamilton again. Her class was great!

Also took all the math I could, but now as an accountant all I have to do is add, subtract, and multiply.

Comments:

I have lived in Houston almost continuously. Went to UH, and started out majoring in music. After getting burned out, I switched to Business got a BBA, then a Master's in tax. Have been working in the tax profession since 1978. That may sound dull to the uninformed among you, but it's been quite an interesting career.

I met my husband Mark at Hollie Huffman Dittmar's wedding rehearsal dinner and the rest, as they say, is history.

Cindy Laughlin (Ramming) and I are still best frieds; have been since 1968.

School Story:

Without a doubt, the best part of high school was being in the band. Band is life! The rest is just details. Mr. Hammerle was and continues to be a major influence in my life. He taught us how to strive and achieve, that it's all possible. We just have to make it happen.

My 4 years at Westchester were amazing. It was a magical time. I'd really love to see as many of our teachers as possible -- why don't they come to our reunions?
