Mark Chestnut died in Orange County, California in what Marine Corps records show as a "non-hostile accidental" death. He was an active-duty warehouse clerk at the time.
My first boyfriend. I remember us sneaking to hold hands in the 6th grade while we were watching movies as an entire class. I am positive that the teachers saw that and were sweet and didn't say a word about it. I'm so sorry to learn of his early death. He had the sweetest family, too. Thank you for your service, Mark.
