From a friend, Greg Bell: Now that all the family has made their posts I feel like I should as well. I lost a dear friend this morning. He was truly an awesome guy to know. John Eagleson was not the kind of guy that shared that with everyone but for those of us he brought in he made them family. Nobody ever had a bad word about the man that I know of and I can’t think of any either. He always had a joke when you were down and had an amazing ear for what you needed to get off your chest. I hope that I did the same for him. We have grown to know and love some of his family and also grateful for that as well. I spent some time with him near the end and he was hurting but still joking with me and we enjoyed talking. I was so fortunate to have known him and been his close friend. I learned a lot about life. We love you John and you will be missed.
