Paul Bradley Santerre

 

SENIOR POLICE OFFICER PAUL BRADLEY SANTERRE (RET.), 50, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010.  Paul was born on January 13, 1959 in Houston to Ray Paul Santerre, Jr. and June Evelyn Burkett Santerre. He was a decorated Senior Houston Police Officer, and retired in January 2009 after more than 30 years with the department. For the past 25 years he was a proud member of the Solo detail squad.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cathy Rippe Santerre; his daughter, Hannah Rebecca Santerre; son, Zachary Ray Santerre; granddaughter, Jade Adelynn Santerre, all of Richmond; his mother, June Santerre of Richmond; brother, Ricky Ray Santerre and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Santerre of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Paul Santerre, Jr..  A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Faith United Methodist Church, in Richmond, with Rev. Karen Dorris and HPD Chaplain Monty Montgomery officiating.
