Charles Edward ("Chuck") Welch of Houston, Texas died on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. He was born September 20, 1959, in Wood River, Illinois. Chuck graduated from Alief Hastings High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Helen and his brothers, John and Bud. He is survived by his father, Vernon Welch; his fiancée Patti Pulliam; his stepdaughter Monica Webber; his sisters, Ruth Welch, Bette Welch, and Roberta Gimmy and her husband Jon; his brothers, Matt Welch and wife Anna, and Bill Welch and wife Dena; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 17, 2006, in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, and interment, with U.S. Navy Military Honors, was at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
