Kimberley Harrison Townsend - May 28, 1965 to May 23, 2016

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must announce the death of my younger sister Kim this afternoon at her home in Iowa after her valiant battle with brain cancer. Kim spiritedly and successfully fought a series of brain tumors during the last 16 years. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 27 years Tony as well as their three children, Harrison (18), Kate (14), and Phillips (12). She also leaves behind our mother, Ruth Harrison, who lost her eldest daughter, dear Debra just five and half years ago. I got to spend the last 2 days with Kim and it was good. She was aware of what was happening and had come to accept the inevitable. Now, she no longer has to fight as she is at peace in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and in the warm embrace of Debra and Daddy.
