Ellanie Lewis and I were regularly in homerooms together because of our last names. We didn't hang out really but were friends as classmates are....early in our freshman year at University of Texas Ellanie took her life in a town house she had just moved into and was living in alone. She was not discovered for two weeks and left a note saying no one would even know if she was gone or care. She was wrong. I remember her. She had deep chuckle laugh, a great smile and she was friendly to those around her. Here's to Ellanie; we won't forget you.
