James Michael Erdeljac, 57, went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2015. He was born on January 2, 1958 in Fairmont, WV to Connie and Dan Erdeljac. He grew up in Houston, and spent the last 30 years in Austin, where he built a successful real estate business. In 1993, he married the love of his life, Darci Werner. Their son, Joseph Clark, was born in 1997, and he was the joy of their lives. Joe and Jim had an inseparable bond - they did everything together. Jim was famous for his barbeque, and loved to share his skills for his family and friends. He had a generous heart and supported his community whenever he saw a need. Jim loved playing golf at the U.T. Golf Club, where he was a member for many years. Jim was loved by many, and in his final months, his friends came together to help him in every way.

In addition to his wife and son, Jim is survived by his mother, Connie Erdeljac; his brother Danny (Kimmy); sisters Mary (Mark) and Laurie (Miles); his mother-in-law, Luetta Werner; and sisters-in-law, Dee O'Connell (Wayne) and Della Robinson (David). Jim was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Dan Erdeljac; niece, Lulu Roh; father-in-law, Ruben Werner; and brothers-in-law, Dale and Duane Werner.

A memorial service will be held at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church at 9508 Great Hills Trail in Austin on Wednesday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Tee of Greater Austin at 5501 Ed Bluestein Blvd, Austin TX 78723, or a charity of your choice.
