HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 19, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Victory Christian Center Coitsville Campus, 3899 McCartney Rd., Coitsville, OH 44436 with Pastor Gerald Beulah Jr. and Pastor David Coxson officiating for Dorothy “Dott” B. Wukelich, 68, who died Tuesday evening May 14, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born April 21, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Delores “Dee” Dripps Shodd and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Wukelich, a 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School, was an active member of Victory Christian Center. Dott was a housekeeping supervisor for Concord Care Center for 34 years. She loved traveling to Niagara Falls with her family who meant the world to her. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed watching them participate in their school functions and sporting events.

She leaves her husband, Thomas M. Wukelich, whom she married May 13, 1972; a son, Brian Wukelich and his wife Heather of Masury; a daughter, Angela Stefurak and her husband Andrew of Howland; a brother, Marty Shodd and his wife Joann of Hubbard; two sisters, Patty Moffitt and her husband Ray and Diana Keenan of Hubbard; 5 grandchildren, Emma and Ian Wukelich, Nicholas Caesar IV and Andrew II and Ashton Stefurak.

Dott also leaves her mother-in-law, Jean Wukelich of Southington; a brother-in-law Carl and the late Rose Miller, sisters-in-law Kathy and the late Ron Grove, Monica and John Masters, Becky and David Lynn, and a sister-in-law, Teddie Sturges; a brother-in-law, Rick Keenan and extended family, Clarence and Jean Redick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bobby Sturges and her father-in-law, John Wukelich.

Family and friends may call on Sunday May 19, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Victory Christian Center Coitsville Campus.

Dott’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Select Specialty Hospital, MVI Hospice, the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Care Center and Nurse Practitioner, Amy Reed.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to K-Love, P. O. Box 2098, Omaha, NE 68103 or to the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Care Center, 1044 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44501.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
