Betty Jean Henson, 68, of Reno passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009, at her home while surrounded by family.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, November 2

3, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Redus officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Betty, the daughter of George and Lillie Wheat Greenwalt, was born February 7, 1941, in Fort Towson, Oklahoma.  She was a faithful member of Springlake Baptist Church and had worked as a CNA in the healthcare field.  The joy in her life was spending time with her family.  She married Alvin Henson who preceded her in death in 1993.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Georgia Magar; and a brother, Hank Greenwalt.

Survivors include two daughters:  Donna Barton and husband Danny of Talco and Carla Smith and Evan Imes of Trinity; sisters, Laverne Jacobs and Mary Owens; brothers John Greenwalt, Loy Greenwalt, Troy Greenwalt, Lesley Greenwalt, Hubert Greenwalt, and Frankie Greenwalt; a very special friend, Loyce McElyea of Paris; along with eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Chad Lehman, Gary Lehman, Brad Bove, Richard Henson, Michael Smith, and Jeremy Driggs.

Honorary bearers will be Harty Smith and Zach Swimm.
