I left Huntsville for Georgia Tech and stayed there for almost 10 years in order to get my BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering. My husband and I moved back to Huntsville on a whim. I took a job at UAH. I received tenure in 2007. I was also diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2007. Thankfully, I am in remission now.
