IMPORTANT REUNION WEEKEND DETAILS!

1. If you pay at the door, you ABSOLUTELY MUST pay by cash or check. We are completely unable to accept credit cards if you pay at the door.  So, bring cash or a check with you to purchase your ticket(s). You will be paying $125 per ticket, or $250 per couple at the door.

2. We have the back room reserved at the Furniture Factory (a local bar) starting at 8pm on Friday night for any of you that want to get together and see people that night.  This "event" is not part of your reunion ticket purchase, but will give everyone a central place to hang out if you wish. You will need to purchase drinks on your own Friday night. The address of the Furniture Factory is 619 Meridian Street and is located off of Pratt Avenue.

3. The picnic/pool party on Saturday is from 11am-2pm. Lunch will be served buffet style from 12-1pm.

4. If you are going on the Saturday tour of HHS, please meet at 9:30 on the back side of the building in the courtyard area. If you have not been to the new HHS building, the big parking lot is located on the back of the school, so there will plenty of room for everyone to park there.  HHS ROTC students will be leading our tour. Children are welcome to attend.

5. We have hired a professional photographer to be at the Ledges event from 7:30-9:30pm to take pictures. She will download these pictures in the next few weeks and you will be able to purchase copies online.  Also, she will be taking our class group picture at 8:30pm, so please plan to be at The Ledges by then so we will have everyone in our group picture!

6. Several people have asked about the attire for Saturday night. Some are wearing coctail dresses and ties, others are wearing khakis and polos/golf shirts for the men and pants or casual sundresses for the women. My personal opinion is that after 20 years we should all just wear whatever we feel most comfortable in! No jeans though, per the Ledges dress code. Other than that, wear whatever you wish. Remember that it is supposed to be close to 100 degrees on Saturday!

7. Directions to Picnic/Pool Party at McMullen Cove: Take Governors Drive east over the mountain. At the traffic light at the Hwy 431 (Publix) intersection, you will turn left onto Hwy 431 which will eventually change names and become Little Cove Road. Keep going straight for 4.8 miles (through Hampton Cove) and take a left on McMullen Lane into the McMullen Cove Subdivision. As soon as you turn left into the gated community, you will come to a guard station on your left. (Just tell the guard you are attending the HHS Reunion)  Stay straight on this road for .6 miles (you will go around a big angel water fountain) and turn right into The Commons, or pool house parking lot, on your right. The address of the pool is 38 McMullen Lane.

8. IMPORTANT!!! As you travel the 4.8 miles on Hwy 431/Little Cove Road, you may see big signs that say "Road Closed to Thru Traffic" and this is NOT TRUE. The city has just finished paving this road and had not removed the signs as of last week. Just ignore the signs and stay straight on the road, following the above directions.   It is totally passable and cars use it all day every day.
