A big "Thank you" to Tollie Esslinger Godwin for all her hard work five years ago and for sharing all her secrets.

Has anyone heard from Jimmy Bennett? I have him on Myspace by he hasn't logged in for about a year. I know that he was still in HSV at that time and worked for PPG. I wanted to make sure he was aware of this site and the reunion plans.

See y'all in June!! (My accent is already coming back hahaha!)

Forgive me if I missed it but if anyone has a list of those classmates no one can seem to find, please pass it along. I'd like to help!

Has anyone heard from James Hamilton?

I am so happy to have this site to keep in touch with old friends. It's also nice getting to know classmates that I didnt have alot in common with in school. At this point in our lives, I think we all want the same things.
It's nice to share.

Thanks to all involved!

See you in June! :)

Some ideas for awards to be given out at the reunion:

Most changed
Least changed
Traveled the farthest
Most kids

Think these are lame? Post your own!

More Award Ideas...

Best Sense of Humor
Most Likely to be on a Reality Show

Hmmm most kids?! Yikes. Guess I'd be in the top 5 LOL

Not sure if anyone else has looked at the "Missing Classmates" list in the menu on the leftside of this webpage, but a couple of the names on the list are on Facebook. So I'm not sure if this list needs to be updated or revised or what.
Who knows more about this?

Tollie Esslinger (Godwin)

It is just a matter of getting our facebook friends to register on this website. If everybody will work on that we will have a much better idea of who is "really" missing.

Billy Woodall

I've actually sent messages to a few of them, but please, if you see one of your "friends" on the missing classmates list, send them a message about joining the site.

DH thought most grey hair would work again. Still tells me I would have won if I hadn't colored my hair before the 10 yr. Like I told him. I dyed it in HS, why should I do something different for a reunion.

How about something along the lines of who looks the most like or most unlike their senior pic. Sounds pretty lame, but hey, why should I change now.

The "Welcome Back Kotter" award
Probably Clevon since he worked at LHS forever

Most Nomadic
Who has relocated the most

Explorer Award
Who has lived the furtherest away

Homebody Award
Who lives the closest
Probably Greg since he lives in his familial home (and there may be people tied with him)

Most Recognizable
So far, Willie Sandifer is a possibility...geez, he looks exactly the same

High School Sweethearts Award
Whoever married (and is still married to) someone they dated in high school

Most Unusual Profession
Yeah...not me...I'm a teacher. B-o-r-i-n-g

Do we have any famous people look-alikes?
Most likely to mistaken for ___________

I think a service to our country recognition would be cool for those members of the armed forces. A "Survived Only Things We Read About in History Books" kind of thing.

Then, there could be something based on the Senior Superlatives...maybe pictures of those people again with life experience appropriate change of the designation? Just a thought...

Sounds like a winner.

I agree that every serviceman/woman--former, reserve, guard, and active--should be honored.

Like you, I was just a teacher--quit to start an HR career, of course I did my KY internship in a prison-minimum security-while holding the title of acting accadenic administrator. Despite all, as Frost said when explaining we all get to the same (perhaps predestined)eventual end, "I took the road less traveled/and that has made all the difference."

Most Nomadic? I guess I might be in the running for that one. Is that a bad thing? hahaha!

Just wanted to say what a great time I had at all three events. By the smiles in all the pictures, I'm sure everyone else did too!!
Please keep your information up to date. Email addresse, phone numbers, mailing addresses. If we can keep everyone current, we'll try to do this again at the 25 yr.
Many thanks to Tollie, Billy, Allison, Anissa and anyone else who was invlolved in the planning.. I know that is a grand task and know that you are appreciated!

Thanks so much,
Sabrina

I see everyone talking about a 20yr reunion. Did I miss it?
no one sent any information and I know some of you know how to get in touch with me because you helped me make my move from New Jersey to Huntsville in 2008.

I kept looking for inoformation because I knew it should be happening in 2009 but I saw or heard nothing... now I have to try to live 5-10 more years in order to make the next one......
