I remember days at the pool playing Marco Polo all day with Brad Travis,Jim,and Jeff. And a few Squirrel hunt/ BB gun wars with me and Jason Walters outnumbered against Jim, Jeff and Cory Ogburn. I remember Jim getting shot in the ass and he was ready to fight somebody for a few minutes. I don't remember him ever shutting someone out for not being "in the crowd" and I don't believe I ever saw him be unkind. MGBH
I remember sitting at the same table in Art class with Jim way back in the 8th grade. One day another boy at our table said something rude to me, comnpletely out of the blue. I can't really remember what was said, but I definitely do remember Jim standing up for me and putting the guy in his place. It really shows what kind of person he was, even back then. I always kind of thought of him as the protective brother I never had, after that! Rest in Peace Jim.
