Jason was always a sincere friend to me. He was real and he really listened. I think Bryce Wheeler was friends with him first - and since Bryce and I were 'going out' back in 10th grade I got to know and become friends with Jason - since I didn't know him in junior high (he had gone to Taylorview and I went to Eagle Rock). I can not adequately say what a great guy he was!
I also remember how much he was into rock climbing and was always going to the rock climbing gym down by the river. I've realized since how strange it was that he was into rock climbing since he was so tall and tall people usually have a harder time rock climbing than shorter people (like me!)

I didn't know Jason well but I knew he enjoyed life. After high school he got a roadbike and I often saw him cruisin' around town with a smile. Sad to see him gone.

I didn't know about Jason passing away. So sad... What happened?

Jason was one of my best friends. When we were in junior high we would spend the summers riding our bikes around Idaho Falls. We worked together at a scout camp when we were fifteen. In the summer of 2005 he was in a car accident near Idaho Falls. He died after spending a week in a coma. Jason was always looking for an adventure and was a good friend and a fun person to be around.

When I moved to I.F. at the beginning of Jr. year, Jason was the first to befriend me at a church push-cart function. From that time on I always considered him one of my best of friends. We grew apart after High School. I kept tabs on him trying to keep up on his life, hearing things through the grapevine networks. There is no greater joy to a family or to ones self worth than knowing that your making positive changes and progress in your life...Progress that I know Jason had made. Perhaps he thought of himself merely as a good friend, But I remember him as a great friend that I look forward to seeing again.

He was always a good friend and teammate to his swim team. Hopefully he is enjoying life on the other side. Does anyone know if he was married or had children?
